UTactic Soft Shell Level V Jacket

The UTactic Soft Shell Level V jacket is a windproof and waterproof base layer: a soft shell.

  

The jacket is made from the unique Agility™ moisture-repellent material produced in the USA in Multicam and is extremely lightweight, compact, and does not restrict freedom of movement. Combined with base and insulating layers, it serves as an excellent outer layer in cold weather.

  

The windproof and waterproof barrier is capable of protecting against light precipitation for a certain period of time. It is recommended to use SOFT SHELL, not GORE-TEX, during long marches, as gore-tex removes moisture slowly and during heavy loads, the moisture doesn't have enough time to evaporate.

  • The sleeve pockets feature external Velcro panels for attaching patches or insignia.
  • The sleeves are adjustable with Velcro fasteners.
  • There is a large hood with a volume adjuster.
  • There are drawstrings at the bottom of the jacket to adapt the jacket to your fit and create a windproof barrier. 
  • A sturdy protected full-length zipper.
