The Ultimate series is the elite line of Bronyx armor plates. Ultimate plates are made of advanced materials from the world's leading ballistic protection companies: Honeywell and Dyneema.
Bronyx AP3-MH DTSU level 3 armor plates are Bronyx's lightest plates. The weight of one M-size plate is 990 grams.
These armor plates are currently available only in M size (250x300mm). L (260x330mm) and XL (275x350mm) sizes are coming soon.
Armor element material: UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) Honeywell (AP3-MH) or Dyneema (AP3-MD)
The thickness of the armor plate is 14-16 mm.
Standardized shape of the Shooter's Cut plate (i.e. with beveled corners) and comfortable anatomical bending in 2 planes
The bending in two planes (3d multi curved technology) improves user comfort during daily wear, owing to it closely conforming to the shape of the chest, thereby providing a maximum secure fit on the body and even weight distribution.
Protection class: Level 3 as per DSTU 8782:2018
The armor plate has been tested in a certified laboratory (withstands 3 hits of 5.45x39 mm PS ball and 7.62x39 mm PS ball rounds from 10 meters). A copy of the test report can be provided with the plates upon request.
All Bronyx armor plates are manufactured at our own production facilities in Ukraine
M — dimensions: 250x300 mm, weight: 990 g, chestsize: up to 110 cm (+-5 cm). This is a standardized size that will fit most plate carriers.
Important! If your carrier/vest does not have a damper pad between the chest and the armor plate, we recommend using a damper that is inserted behind the plate. This helps reduce the armor's back-spalling deformation that occurs when hit by objects with high kinetic energy.
